This excellent new villa is located within the charming and traditional village of Lajares and offers a high level of accommodation in a rural location. There are a few restaurants within the village which are within a fifteen minute walk as well as a local supermarket and pharmacy. The villa is only a short drive from the fabulous sand dune beaches and resort of Corralejo and also the unspoilt coastal village of El Cotillo.

Interior

This spacious, single-storey villa has high pitched roofs with wooden beams giving it a lovely country feel. There is an open plan living room and dining area and open archways to the kitchen and to the hallway leading to the bedrooms, making the villa very bright and airy. The fitted kitchen is modern and very well equipped for a self catering holiday. There are three attractive good sized bedrooms. The master bedroom has a double bed, ceiling fan and fitted wardrobes. It has an en-suite shower room and patio doors leading to the terrace. There are two twin bedrooms which share a family bathroom.

Exterior

Patio doors lead from the living room out to a covered dining terrace overlooking the 9x4m solar/electric heated swimming pool accessed by ladder steps. It is surrounded by a large sun bathing terrace with sunbeds and a poolside shower. This countryside setting together with patio table and chairs and built in seating provides a perfect place for alfresco dining in the balmy Fuerteventura climate.

Amenities

The villa is located on the edge of Lajares, a charming village conveniently located within a ten minute drive to the unspoilt beaches, lagoons and fish restaurants of El Cotillo and fifteen minutes drive to the stunning dunes beaches. Within the village of Lajares there is a small selection of local artisan shops, a supermarket and a handful of restaurants and bars. As well as restaurants specialising in typical Canarian food, there is also a fantastic Argentine grill, another restaurant specialising in vegetarian cuisine and a pizza parlour. Lajares is perfect for clients wanting a peaceful holiday but where amenities of a resort and fantastic beaches are only a short drive away. Corralejo is the main resort in the North of Fuerteventura and has an excellent selection of shops, bars and restaurants. It is also the location of the world famous dune beaches which, as well as being stunning places to bathe, are also very popular with windsurfers and kitesurfers. The island’s only golf course is a 35 minute drive away in Caleta de Fuste. The transfer time from the airport is approximately 30 minutes.
