Recently constructed to the highest quality and a bespoke design, this delightful villa is the perfect holiday home which evokes a spirit of sun-filled summer days spent swimming, sun-bathing and candlelight/moonlight dining. Detached, beautifully designed and unique in its combination of large, airy living spaces and architectural form – creating an interior of cool, bright, relaxed and spacious ambience. Set within secure high-walled, mature Canary style gardens with electric gates opening onto the private driveway containing a large double garage. Villa Maria is less than a 3 mins drive/12 mins walk from the town centre, a 10 mins walk to one of the best beaches in Europe and a 10 min walk to the national park encompassing 3,125 acres of the finest, sweeping and never-ending dunes. There is also the convenience of the essential local shops, supermarkets and amenities nearby.
There are four guest suites comprising of one master double bedroom and three twin bedrooms. The master suite contains a feature dresser and shares a beautifully decorated fully equipped bath/shower room with integral vanity units and a 6 hydro-jet. Notes on Accommodation Villa Maria is designed all on one level and is therefore ideal for the young and the elderly. There is also a DVD player with mp3 playback and an extensive DVD library containing a wide selection of 20 blockbuster movies suitable for the young, old and young at heart! These include: Sharks Tale, Robots, Shrek, Goodfellas, Snatch, The Aviator, Evita, Gothika, The Bourne Supremacy, The Day After Tomorrow and Love Actually to name a few. Moreover there is also a collection of family board games and several books for those who have watched too many DVDs! Please note smoking is permitted outside.
Outside There are three large sun terraces. The private poolside sun terrace overlooking the kidney-shaped pool (complete with the essential hygienic poolside ‘power’ shower) is fully furnished with comfortable reclining sun-loungers and al fresco dining facilities. The second terrace is shaded (for those sunburnt days!) and contains a brick purpose built BBQ ideal to start your al fresco dining with! The huge rooftop solarium offers uninterrupted 360º panoramic breathtaking views over the clear emerald green and sapphire blue seas of the Atlantic Ocean, the Isla de Lobos, Lanzarote and the ever-changing white sands of the national park – perfect for the year round sunny days and starry nights!
Coast/Beach Fuerteventura’s stunning stretch of coastline and laidback tempo remains one of the Canary Islands’ best kept secrets. Warm Saharan winds whip up the seas to create a haven for watersport enthusiasts, and miles of shimmering sand dunes line the shores. Europe. The course hosted the Spanish open in 2004, which is quite a feat
when you consider it opened in 2002! A second course is due before the end
of 2006 & will allow a little variety for those who need more than one
challenging course to make a golfing holiday worthwhile. The course has 18
holes, with a par of 71, & wanders over streams & around lakes.
The golf course also boasts a 5* clubhouse, a pro shop, a resident PGA
professional, a driving range, chipping area, practice bunker and putting
green. Travel The nearest airport (Puerto Del Rosario) is a pleasant scenic journey just 25 minutes away from this villa. Due to the villas desirable location, car hire is not essential but it is recommended to fully be able to explore the natural wonders Fuerteventura Island has to offer. Distances Villa Maria is less than a 3 minute drive/12 minute walk from the town centre of Corralejo, a 10 minute walk to one of the best beaches in Europe and a 5 minute walk to the national park. There is also the convenience of the essential local shops, supermarkets and amenities within 5 minutes walking distance. Further details Corralejo town is a winning combination of idyllic unspoilt, white sandy beaches as well as offering an extremely varied and good selection of shops (duty free!), cafes, bars and restaurants with many of them overlooking the sparkling sea. There are a host of day activities catering for any member of the family including surf/windsurf schools, scuba diving, horse-riding, golf, mountain biking/cycling, go-karting, parrot shows, camel safaris, shipwreck sighting and a newly built water/amusement park (complete with bowling alleys) to name a few! In spite of the excessive amenities, Corralejo has retained its original Spanish village atmosphere and charm, as well as being blessed with a climate offering year round gloriously warm and dry weather ensuring there is never a bad time to go! Corralejo also provides an attractive town square which boasts nightly live entertainment, an original marina which caters for fishing, ferry trips to Lanzarote and glass-bottom boat trips to the uninhabited a la ‘Robinson Crusoe’ Island of Los Lobos. Also in town there is a perfect ‘family friendly’ safe beach which provides all the facilities a family would need for a day out on the beach. Moreover Corralejo is surrounded by 340 kms of captivating perfect sandy beaches and never-ending Sahara born golden dunes and are known to be some of the best beaches in Europe comparable even to the Caribbean! Although nightlife is low-key, if the night does call there is a good selection of bars and nightclubs to suit all tastes including the infamous rock bar Booze & Tattooz and the beautiful beach restaurant/bar/club Waikiki.
