Four bedroom Spanish holiday villa

Situated on a hillside in a rural setting overlooking lemon, orange, almond and olive groves. Villa Del Delfin enjoys panoramic views towards the famous salt lakes and ocean. The property is located near the village of San Miguel, a 5 min drive provides a variety of small shops, 3 small supermarkets, a bread shop, a few bars and a couple of restaurants. Villa Del Delfin is for the discerning traveler who enjoys quiet idyllic days in the complete privacy of their own villa whilst within easy access to all the holiday facilities including water parks, zoos, marine parks, beaches and restaurants. Costa Blanca has a relaxed and historic character. Many people are attracted by the superb golfing facilities (4 within a 10 min drive), others by the sunshine this area boasts, a micro climate with only 10 days of rain a year. The appearance is in accordance with a traditional Spanish design and yet with every modern amenity assuring the visitor of comfort, peace and tranquility.

The villa is fully equipped for a stress free holiday with small children – travel cot, high chair, booster seat and tray, stair gate and even a bottle sterilizer, potty and step. There is ample paved sunbathing area (including sunbeds and matresses) and an outdoor shower.

Accommodation

Bedrooms: There are four spacious double bedrooms, 2 on the ground floor and 2 on the first floor. The 1st floor master bedroom has a king-size bed, a dressing room and patio doors leading to the roof terrace. There is a bathroom on both floors.

Bathrooms: The upstairs bathroom has two doors and can be used either as an en-suite to the master bedroom or used by both 1st floor bedrooms. Both bathrooms include bath/shower over, bidet, toilet, sink.

Kitchen: A spacious attractive room, it comes fully equipped with a large refrigerator/freezer, electric hob and fan oven with rotisserie, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, microwave and all other usual kitchen utensils.

Living Room: A large well presented room with open fireplace tastefully furnished with cane furniture, the dining room is well situated and the dining table will sit eight people comfortably. DVD player, video and playstation complete with films and games is provided.

Other: The villa lends itself to outdoor living with a covered and shaded terrace with a large patio table overlooking the pool. A few steps down from the covered terrace is the private 10 x 5m pool, which can be illuminated at night.

Cleaning/towels/linen/maid service: The villa, gardens and pool are professionally managed by leading local agents who also arrange for the reception and welfare of guests during their stay. Towels and linen are provided.

Outside

The villa lends itself to outdoor living with a covered and shaded terrace with a large patio table overlooking the pool. A few steps down from the covered terrace is the private 10m x 5m pool, which can be illuminated at night. There is ample paved sunbathing area and a shower. The roof terrace can be accessed from a door at the top of the stairs or from the master bedroom. It is very large with private views over the orange, lemon, almond and olive groves leading to the salt lakes and ocean.

Golf

There are 4 local golf courses within a 10 minute drive although many more are available within close proximity - Las Ramblas, Campomoar, Villa Martin and La Finca.

Travel

It is approximately 40 minutes from Alicante airport and 20 minutes from Murcia (San Javier). It is approximately 8 1/2 hours from drive from Bilbao or Santander (all dual-carriageway). Detailed directions from airports and ports are available on request.

Distances

There are many historic towns nearby rich in history and architecture for sightseeing.

Further details

Murcia - Huge, old city, lot's of shops, pavement cafes etc.
Torrevieja - Head for the Marina, a maze of back streets, pavement cafes etc
Island of Tabarca - Boats from Santa Pola and Torrevieja run regularly (about every half an hour). The boats have underwater viewing panels and the island and the surrounds are a marine reserve so the fish are beautiful, good place for snorkelling. The island is only 2kms long and 400 meters wide, it provides normal tourist style shops and quite a few restaurants. There are pedaloes to hire.
Rio Safari Elche - parrot, sea lion and elephant shows are very entertaining. Road train takes you on a trip around the park. Aquapolis water park Torrevieja - good fun for all ages, slides of all different lengths and heights as well as a large pool and a children's pool.
